Individual developer MAgaming opened the Steam store page for Your Liar on September 14. The game is a four-player online party game in which one hidden traitor, the Liar, tries to fail cooperative mini-games. An open beta runs September 18 to 20, each day from 20:00 to 24:00 Japan time. The Steam release is planned for September.

The television anime of Ryo Ariyama's Romelia War Chronicle light novels will debut streaming in Japan on October 3 at 9:00 p.m. on U-NEXT, Anime Times, and Netflix, then air on Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV on October 5. A new promotional video previews Chogakusei's opening theme "Akatsuki ni Naru" and Kohta Yamamoto's ending theme "Nightfall feat. Maika Loubte." The anime runs two cours, with Crunchyroll streaming as it airs.

Zero Place ran a participatory promotion for Saitama City at Saitama Stadium Fireworks John Williams Fireworks 2026. Four gacha machines were installed, with free plays conditioned on following the city's official SNS accounts, plus a survey-linked digital gacha called ELP. The day produced 440 free gacha plays and 48 ELP digital plays, a total of 488 experiences, and gathered visitor opinions for future event planning.

Alliance Arts released Touhou Koumakyou: New Classic ~ the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. on September 10 for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game is a modern remake of the 2002 bullet hell shooter Touhou Koumakyou, led by original creator ZUN, and marks the first official Touhou Project shooting game on console platforms. It includes a New Classic version with high-resolution graphics and all BGM rearranged by ZUN, plus a Classic version that reproduces the 2002 game as faithfully as possible. The Classic version can inherit replays and save data from the original ver1.02h. New features include a Spell Practice mode and an unlimited lives mode for newcomers. The standard edition costs 1,990 yen, and a deluxe edition with a digital sound player app is 2,966 yen. The original source code was lost, so a programmer from the doujin circle AQUA STYLE independently analyzed the game and built a Switch version, which became the project's starting point. A DVD backup found at ZUN's home helped recreate character portraits. The New Classic version also supports 4K resolution.
