Your Liar Opens Steam Page And Sets Open Beta For September 18

The design turns the usual werewolf deduction loop on its head: the traitor is not trying to win the mini-games but to fail them quietly, so the table reads intent rather than loyalty.

Your Liar Opens Steam Page And Sets Open Beta For September 18

Individual developer MAgaming opened the Steam store page for Your Liar on September 14. The game is a four-player online party game in which one hidden traitor, the Liar, tries to fail cooperative mini-games. An open beta runs September 18 to 20, each day from 20:00 to 24:00 Japan time. The Steam release is planned for September.

The Liar plays the same mini-games as everyone else and has to fail them. Because obvious sabotage would give the role away, the game turns on whether a mistake looks genuine or deliberate. A quota requires a set number of failures per match, so the Liar also has to pick when to slip. Five mini-games are drawn at random from a larger pool for each match, which changes how suspicion moves between players. Bomb defusal, a role-split drive, a ball maze, block stacking, safe cracking, a memory game and air hockey are among the types. After five games, a vote names the Liar. Random Match and Private Match are both available on PC via Steam.
