Kadokawa has opened pre-orders for Nino Nakano and Miku Nakano plastic models in its KADOKAWA PLASTIC MODEL SERIES, tied to the TV special anime The Quintessential Quintuplets. Both are assembly kits about 165mm tall with molded and pre-painted color, three facial expression parts each, and optional parts such as a school bag and smartphone. Kadostore orders include a bonus expression part, and Nino's listing also has a special set. The Kadostore deadline is November 25, 2026.

Fujimi Model will release 1/700 scale battleship kits of Yamato and Musashi in its Ship NEXT Series, each priced at 5,280 yen including tax. Both are full-hull kits reproduced down to the hull bottom, but the parts are divided at the waterline so each can also be built as a waterline model. Each kit includes a wooden deck sticker and pre-cut detail stickers.

Good Smile Company is adding Hitagi Senjougahara and Shinobu Oshino from the Monogatari Series to HELLO! GOOD SMILE, its deformed figure line. Each painted plastic figure stands about 100mm, is non-scale, and has a movable neck. Sculptor NEQ and creative director Shigeto Koyama worked on both. Each costs 1,700 yen with tax and is scheduled for release in March 2027.

A playable demo for Morpho Reverie blends a visual novel with a rhythm game, and the rhythm half is harder than expected. Set in 2040, the story asks what separates music played by humans from music played by AI. The Steam page lists over 80 songs, more than 30 of them original, with 10 playable in the demo and composers including onoken and Kaneko Chiharu.

The Young Ace editorial department apologized for using Ieri Komen's character designs without permission in Kei Natsumi's manga adaptation of Rokakoen's Pitch-Black Infatuation. The department said it asked Kadokawa Horror Bunko about using designs for Rumi Sasaki and Yukiyoshi Aoyama, received a vague reply, and proceeded anyway. After the first volume shipped on August 4, Komen found two more characters and a background location had also been used.

Shueisha's MANGA MILLION platform has added Hiromasa Okujima's manga Together with Serial-san, which the service describes as a comedy about a college student who lets a wanted serial killer move in under his identity. The manga debuted in Shueisha's Grand Jump Mucha magazine on February 25. Okujima also created Baban Baban Ban Vampire, which ran in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shonen Champion from October 2021 and inspired a Netflix anime and a live-action film.

Developer cloudyyrust canceled his Star Citizen offline mod, ChrisWareOffline, after Cloud Imperium Games contacted him about files the mod included. He complied, deleting the GitHub repository, all download sources, the build channels on the mod's official Discord, and the Discord server, and asked users to remove downloaded files and re-uploads. Posts about the mod on the Star Citizen subreddit were removed after CIG sent an unofficial DMCA notice to moderators.

Bandai Namco Experience will produce VS CHALLENGE KL Midtown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, scheduled to open November 5, 2026. Planning and sales are handled by Bandai Namco Experience, with local operations run by AEON Fantasy Malaysia. The facility introduces 20 activities chosen for the Malaysian market from more than 100 types developed in Japan. It is the company's second overseas production, following VS CHALLENGE AEON Mall Deltamas in Indonesia on June 13, 2024. The company will also exhibit at IAAPA Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

At New York Comic Con, Wizards of the Coast announced Magic: The Gathering | Marvel: Darkhold Destiny, a new Universe Beyond set built on an original story set in the Marvel Universe. The story spans roughly 30 dimensions and centers on Doctor Strange, Thor, Hela, and Dormammu. Two Secret Lair products were also announced: Secret Lair Countdown Kit: Marvel's History of Heroes, a 30-card set with more than 30 artists, and Secret Lair x Marvel: Doomsdrop, featuring Doctor Doom.

TV Asahi's Aibou season 25 will hand the partner role from Yasufumi Terawaki as Kaoru Kameyama to Mitsuhiro Oikawa as Takashi Kobe partway through the season. The show premieres October 21, Wednesdays at 21:00, with an extended first episode, "PM Crisis." Yutaka Mizutani returns as Ukyo Sugishita, and TV Asahi will rebroadcast six selected Ukyo and Kaoru episodes from October 14.

He said the focus is on adventure, collecting equipment, and strengthening characters, with monster combat and boss battles. Barone framed it as a game for people who got hooked on mine exploration and conquering in Stardew Valley.

The November issue of Shodensha's Feel Young magazine announced that Erica Sakurazawa will launch a new manga, Watashi no Manga (Mayoi) Michi (My [Lost] Road to Manga), in the magazine's next issue on November 6. The manga will feature behind-the-scenes essays from "that era." Sakurazawa's Paris 1921 manga launched on Kateigaho.com in June 2024, and Sekaibunkasha published one volume in October 2025.

Bandai is taking lottery applications on Premium Bandai for the "Dragon Ball Z Gigantic Series Super Saiyan Son Goku -Legendary Super Saiyan-" figure, priced at 19,800 yen with tax included and shipping set for December 2026. The item stands about 48cm tall and reproduces Goku's trained body and battle-damaged gi. Clear parts are used for the head. Prototype production is credited to HYO (MADHOUSE), with PLEX Corporation as distributor.
