Bandai Namco Entertainment released Tales of Eternia Remastered on October 15 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The remaster is based on the 2005 PSP version. The standard edition costs 3,960 yen and the Deluxe Edition 6,930 yen. New features include destination icons, a boost function, high-speed auto-battle, and a graphics and SE mode switch.
The remaster keeps the 2D battle system and the story set in Eternia, the facing world where Inferia and Celestia look at each other across the sky.
Progression aids are the main addition: destination icons, a boost function, and a high-speed mode during auto-battle. A mode switch lets players use the original graphics and SE. The Deluxe Edition, download only, adds a digital art book, digital soundtrack, a battle BGM pack, and a Super Growth Promotion item set.
