ILLUMINATION announced on June 18, 2026, that it has implemented a new "VRM Heroine Function" for its PC VR romance simulation "VR Kanojo." The feature allows players to place a VRM-format 3D model in a designated folder, and that model will appear as the heroine in the main story, replacing the default character Yuhi Sakura. Dynamo Amusement Co., Ltd. has licensed the Ao Oni IP from LiTMUS and announced "Ao Oni VR: Blueberry Mass Production Plan," the first location-based VR attraction in the series.
