HIKKY CEO Yasushi Funahashi gave VketReal 2026 Summer a score above 80 out of 100, citing successful efforts to ease entry lines and in-venue congestion. The event, held July 25-26 at Bellesalle Akihabara, used web ticketing with fast passes and timed entry, plus wider booth spacing. Funahashi said the goal was balancing comfort with lively communication, and he heard from about 100 attendees that shopping was easy and smooth.

HIKKY announced on July 28 that it released the Fujikyu Highland-themed VR space "Virtual FUJIQ" on VRChat on July 27. The world is part of the XR Annual Project marking the 100th anniversary of Fujikyu Railway's founding. Visitors can enter for free 24 hours a day from VR devices or Windows PC by searching for "Virtual FUJIQ" within VRChat. The space keeps attractions from Virtual Market 2026 Summer, held July 11 to 26, playable after the event ended. These include the VR coaster "Super FUJIYAMA!," which accelerates the more the player screams, and the water attraction "Sugoku Nagashimasuka," a two-choice quiz about Fujikyu Highland trivia. HIKKY states this is the world's first VR coaster that accelerates with screams, based on its own research from February to June 2026. Beyond serving as an event archive, the space is a hub for the Fujikyu Highland virtual community "FUJIQ VIRTUAL PLAZA," which has drawn over 10,000 members within about two weeks of recruitment. Community members interact on Discord and will help plan the Virtual Market 2026 Winter exhibition. New attractions and content are planned, incorporating member feedback.
