Paidy Brings Deferred Payment to Games With TGS 2026 Debut
PayPal and Paidy are exhibiting together at Tokyo Game Show 2026, marking Paidy's first time at the event. Executive Officer and Vice President Tomochika Hashimoto says games need real-time payment and skew young, while credit cards skew older. Paidy, which Paidy built for digital content in 2018, lets users pay later with an email address and phone number instead of a card.
