S.O.L School Of Labyrinth Launches on Steam

Indie developer SUSHI Lab released the dungeon crawl RPG 'S.O.L School Of Labyrinth' on Steam on August 13, 2026. The game is priced at 800 yen (tax included). Players wake up in a mysterious space called 'Mumyo no Kodo', an urban legend whispered among students, said to have no exit and to be inhabited by things not of this world. Guided by a mysterious teacher, the player forms a party of four students, each with abilities tied to their school affiliation, and explores a dungeon of 50 floors beneath the old school building to return to everyday life. Combat is an orthodox command-selection turn-based system where enemy attacks and abnormal events reduce HP and also drain the students' SAN value, a sanity parameter. The underground labyrinth changes its form randomly each time it is explored, with the current exploration rate shown on a minimap. At the base, players interact with other students who have drifted into this world, complete requests to strengthen the base, and receive useful items. The game supports Japanese and English.

Dungeon Crawl RPG 'S.O.L School Of Labyrinth' Steam Page Opens

Indie developer SUSHI Lab has opened the Steam store page for its upcoming dungeon crawl RPG S.O.L School Of Labyrinth. The game is set in a 50-floor otherworldly expanse beneath an old school building, where players control a party of four students who have lost their memories. Each student has a role determined by their club affiliation-such as the tea ceremony club or newspaper club-affecting combat and exploration. Turn-based battles require managing HP, MP, and SAN (sanity), which depletes from enemy attacks and abnormal events. Players collect materials and equipment in the labyrinth, then return to base to restore facilities and strengthen the party. The decision to retreat is as important as pressing forward. The Steam page also discloses that generative AI tools were used in production for creating image assets, BGM, sound effects, translation, and text adjustments, with human post-processing. S.O.L School Of Labyrinth is scheduled to be exhibited at Tokyo Game Dungeon 13 on August 8, 2026. A release date on Steam has not yet been announced.
