At the Sega/Atlus booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held in September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, a stage event for Persona 4 Revival featured cosplayer Enako in a Rise Kujikawa costume alongside producer Kazuhisa Wada. The event followed a DJ live set by RAM RIDER and a Persona Dancers performance. Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and Steam, and for May 20 on Nintendo Switch 2.

PERSONA LIVE TOUR 2026 -Resonance- played Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on September 23. The 30th-anniversary tour, which began in Fukuoka on September 11 and continues to Osaka, Seoul, and Taipei, features singers Lyn, Azumi Takahashi, and Lotus Juice with a six-member band. The set ranged from PSP-era Persona 2: Innocent Sin material to Persona 3 Reload DLC songs and a Persona 4 Revival segment.

The in-game song "True Story -Revival-" from "Persona 4 Revival" is streaming early on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and other services. Rise Kujikawa, voiced by Rie Kugimiya, sings it, with composition by Shoji Meguro and lyrics by ATLUS. A lyric video is on the Atlus Game Music YouTube channel, directed by Hideaki Tsutsumi. "Persona 4 Revival" is confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 on May 20, 2027.

The Persona 4 Revival livestream announced Sunday that Ryotaro Okiayu voices Ryotaro Dojima in Atlus' remake of its 2008 role-playing game. Okiayu replaces the late Unsho Ishizuka, who voiced the character until his death in 2018. The stream also introduced a new feature called location episode. The remake adds a new English voice cast and animated cutscenes from MAPPA.

Atlus brought Persona 4 Revival to Tokyo Game Show 2026 with a playable story-mode demo and a stage event on September 19 headlined by director Daisuke Yajima and ZETA DIVISION players k4sen and Clutch_Fi. The stage showed the Marie Social Link for the first time, in an event absent from the demo: a blue door in the Inaba Central Shopping District leads to the Velvet Room, where Margaret, Marie, and Igor appear, and eating at shops or viewing scenery with Marie raises her Social Link rank. Hands-on impressions describe a full remake of the 2008 game with redrawn character proportions and backgrounds matching Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload, a new battle UI, newly recreated BGM including a new arrangement of "Reach Out To The Truth," and fully re-recorded voice work. The demo covered an early episode in which the protagonist confronts Yosuke Hanamura's Shadow.

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe and TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall, trial play tickets for several titles ended distribution on September 19, per the official X accounts of each title. Final Fantasy VII Revelation used a numbered ticket system for safety reasons, and distribution for the day closed at 9:24 AM once the planned number was reached. Persona 4 Revival tickets at the Sega/Atlus booth ended at 9:34 AM. Earth Defense Force 6.2 tickets at the D3P booth appeared to end at 10:28 AM. Distribution also ended for Final Fantasy Resonance, Romancing SaGa 3 Destiny United, STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, Ace Combat 8, GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, and others. Social media posts included 'Already over!?' and 'So it's one of those that you can't make even with a opening dash.'

Atlus announced on August 24 that it will bring playable demos of Persona 4 Revival and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio to Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe. At the Sega/Atlus booth, visitors can spend 15 minutes with Persona 4 Revival, choosing between Story Focus, which covers the early narrative and the Strange Shopping District, and Dungeon Focus, which features Yukiko's Castle and a boss battle. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC with Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now open. The remake modernizes visuals, battles, and events, according to 4Gamer.net. The original Persona 4 followed a student who moves to a rural town, investigates the urban legend of the Midnight Channel, and solves a series of murders. The game later received a Vita port titled Persona 4 Golden and inspired spin-offs including Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Atlus previously released a remake of Persona 3, titled Persona 3 Reload, in February 2024.
