The Shin Megami Tensei V / V Vengeance official art book is up for pre-order at ebten. The volume collects art from both games, centered on Masayuki Doi's illustrations of characters and demons, with a cover drawn new for the book and setting materials and early sketches shown for the first time. The ebtenDX pack adds an A4 acrylic panel of the cover art with Doi's digital signature and an A6 illustration card as an Atlas D Shop bonus. Release is November 11, 2026.

Atlus announced on September 2 the lineup for the Sega/Atlus booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe. Persona 4 Revival gets a playable demo with two selectable modes: Story Main, which covers the early story and exploration of the strange shopping district, and Dungeon Main, which sends players through Yukiko's Castle against shadows and a boss. A new photo experience, the Persona Summon Experience Photo, lets attendees summon a Persona and take a commemorative photo with a special frame, delivered by QR code, alongside a Kuma cosplay spot. Booth novelties include paper glasses that let visitors become the Persona 4 Revival protagonist and a large shopper bag printed with both Persona 4 Revival and Metaphor: ReFantazio artwork. Stage events include DJ RAM RIDER's Persona series 30th anniversary music live, a dancing stage, an Enako talk show with general producer Wada Kazuhisa, a ZETA DIVISION stage with k4sen and Clutch_Fi, and a live by singer Shiori Sasaki. All stages stream on the Sega official YouTube channel. Metaphor: ReFantazio's Nintendo Switch 2 version gets a hands-on Sword Trial based on its Fast & Squad battle system, plus a September 20 talk stage on villain Louis.

Atlus announced on August 24 that it will bring playable demos of Persona 4 Revival and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio to Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe. The remake is based on Persona 4 The Golden and is set in the rural town of Inaba. Those who try the demo receive a special design Atlus water, a plastic bottle holder, and an original sticker set for Persona 4 Revival and Metaphor. The Metaphor: ReFantazio Switch 2 version offers hands-on content called Trial of the Sword, based on the battle system, though with a TGS-specific build that does not support Joy-Con motion controls. Sega announced the guest lineup for the Stranger Than Heaven stage at its Sega/Atlus booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe. The event spans five days, with both special stages and gameplay stages scheduled. Actor Tsuyoshi Ukaji is set to appear on the September 18 special stage, while professional wrestler Kenny Omega joins the gameplay stage on September 19. Voice actor Akio Otsuka takes the special stage on the same day. The September 20 lineup includes streamer kson on the gameplay stage, with the special stage guest still listed as coming soon. The final day, September 21, features Ushizawa on the gameplay stage and a special last stage with actors Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka. Sega plans to stream each stage program on the RGG Studio official YouTube channel.

Netflix is developing a live-action television series based on Atlus and Sega's Persona video game franchise, according to a report from Variety. The project has Christopher Monfette attached as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Monfette's credits include the final two seasons of Star Trek: Picard, 12 Monkeys, and 9-1-1. The series will be produced by 21 Laps Entertainment, the company behind Stranger Things, and Story Kitchen, the production outfit founded by Sonic the Hedgehog film producer Dmitri M. Johnson. Sega's Toru Nakahara, who produced the Sonic movie series, will also serve as an executive producer. Additional executive producers include Shawn Levy, Robert Atwood, Dan Levine, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson. Variety's report did not specify whether the adaptation will follow the story of a specific Persona game. The Persona franchise, which launched in 1996 as a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series, has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. The franchise includes six numbered titles and multiple spin-off games. Netflix declined to comment on the report. The series would join Netflix's growing catalog of video game adaptations, which includes The Witcher, Arcane, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
