Bandai will release a One Piece set in its Yura Yura Squad gashapon line in the fifth week of October 2026, priced at 500 yen per play with tax included. The Yura Yura Squad format is a bobblehead spec in which the head sits on a spring and wobbles. The One Piece set has four types: Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Shanks, and Buggy. The characters are deformed into figures of roughly 6cm, according to Inside. Bandai's vendor division handles the release. The copyright line credits Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha, Fuji TV, and Toei Animation. Release timing may differ by region and store. The set is the One Piece entry in a series that Bandai is building as its own gashapon brand rather than a one-off tie-in.

MADFINGER Games has released Rogue Ops, the fourth major update for Gray Zone Warfare, still in early access. It moves the game from pre-alpha to alpha. Former showrunner Steve Maeda said on the Trash Taste podcast that Eiichiro Oda rejected an early version of Netflix's One Piece live-action adaptation after a new executive asked for the budget to be cut in half and the season reduced from 10 episodes to eight. Maeda said the revised scripts drifted from the manga, and Oda told Netflix it was not what he had agreed to.

The official website for The Apothecary Diaries: The Late Lady's Treasure presented a new trailer, main visual and character relationship chart on Thursday. The trailer names and previews the theme song "Haru ga Tomori" by singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu. The film adapts a new story by original light novel author Hyuganatsu, following Maomao and Jinshi as they travel to the homeland of a concubine who died five years ago to return her remains. The site also announced a film novelization written by Hyuganatsu, on sale December 9, containing material not used in the film, with a first-edition wraparound band carrying the key visual. A short story by Hyuganatsu about Maomao and Jinshi, described as an epilogue, will appear in 1.5 million booklets distributed at participating theaters from opening day while supplies last. The film opens in Japan on December 11, with Norihiro Naganuma directing and TOHO Animation STUDIO on animation. Crunchyroll holds North American and worldwide rights excluding Asia but including India.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released One Piece: Ocean's Delicious Restaurant for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026, with the PC version via Steam and the iOS and Android versions set for October 23. Kairosoft, the studio behind a long line of pixel-art management simulations, developed the game. The story starts when a fake version of the sea restaurant Baratie appears, and Luffy and Sanji open a second branch to out-earn the impostor. Players run that branch as a customizable rookie staff member: sending companions on outings for ingredients and recipes, building set menus from a main dish, side dish, drink, and dessert, decorating tables, and buying facilities. Kairosoft's pixel art carries the presentation, and the roster reaches over 400 characters, from early figures like Koby and Gaimon to Loki and Gunko from the Elbaph Arc. Nine minigames sit alongside the management loop, and the Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. More than 200 types of furniture and interior items are included.

APEX is producing a 1/7 scale figure of Yuzuha Ukinami from Zenless Zone Zero, and preorders are open at AmiAmi as of October 21, 2026. The One Piece Mugiwara Store Los Angeles opens November 6 at the Westfield Century City shopping center. OceanVeil will stream the Korean-animated boys-love series One-Room TA from November 13 at 10:00 a.m. PST, with weekly episodes through December 25. Shueisha Games released a Steam demo for the adventure game Hon to Kagi no Kisetsu on October 20, 2026, the opening day of Steam Next Fest. The demo contains all of Chapter 1, titled "913." Developer iMel is handling the game, which is planned for release this winter on Nintendo Switch and Steam. Hon to Kagi no Kisetsu adapts Honobu Yonezawa's novel of the same name, published by Shueisha Bunko. It follows Jiro Horikawa and Shimon Matsukura, two high school boys on the library committee who take on mysteries that arrive in their ordinary lives. In Chapter 1, senior student Mari Uragami asks the pair to open an "unopenable safe" left behind by her late grandfather, and the grandfather's words serve as the clue. The game uses illustrations and full voice acting throughout, and in some scenes the player solves the mystery directly as Horikawa. Kazuki Ura voices Horikawa, Yuichiro Umehara voices Matsukura, and Arisa Sakuraba voices Uragami.

TurboNerds Games released a Steam demo for KILLSEC, a top-down action roguelite built on physics-driven melee combat. Players escape a giant corporation's top-secret facility by deflecting sword strikes, bullets, and lasers back at enemies. Time flows faster the more the player moves, and game speed rises through harder stages. Stackable items strengthen the combat body. CD PROJEKT RED and animation studio TRIGGER began streaming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix on October 20, 2026. The series is set in Night City, the world of the game Cyberpunk 2077, and runs for 10 episodes, released all at once. It is a standalone story with an entirely new cast, told as an ensemble drama built around four characters: Weeck (voiced by Kentaro Tone), a veteran edgerunner once called the King; D (voiced by Koki Uchiyama), a Nomad seeking revenge on the people who destroyed his clan; Roman (voiced by Momoka Terasawa), a boy who films everything with his camera; and Talia (voiced by Akari Kito), a girl devoted to gang culture, violence, and chrome. Kai Igarashi directs. Kazu Ichi Sugano is lead character designer. Masahiko Otsuka and Hugo Award winner Bartosz Sztybor write, with Sztybor also serving as showrunner. The Japanese-dubbed Episode 1 was also streamed free on Twitch at 19:00 on October 20, with no archive kept.

RetBear will perform "No Reaction" as the opening theme for the TV anime adaptation of In a World Full of Zombies I'm the Only One Who Doesn't Get Attacked. The song is produced by Kairiki Bear, the Vocaloid creator behind "Venom" and "Darling Dance," and features a guest vocalist credited only as unknown Vo: 0in. The announcement was made on October 10, which is also World Zombie Day, alongside the reveal of the anime's key visual and main promotional video. The series is scheduled to begin airing on AT-X in January 2027. The source manga has recorded more than 9.5 million downloads and sold over 750,000 copies, including spin-offs. Kenshi Yonezu will tour 14 shows in 11 cities from December 26, 2026 to February 28, 2027 under the banner KENSHI YONEZU 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR / GHOST. The run covers Taipei, Seoul, Singapore, Oakland, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark, Toronto, London, Paris, and Amsterdam, with expected attendance around 200,000. Overlap's Comic Gardo website published the third and final part of the 200th and last chapter of Gin Ammo's Black Summoner manga on Tuesday. The adaptation of Doufu Mayoi and Kurogin's light novel series launched on Comic Gardo in January 2018. Overlap will publish the 26th and final compiled volume on October 20.
