Tohji Launches Mall Tape 3 Remix Contest for Tokyo Dome Last Live

Tohji has opened #MallTapeRemixZone, a fan-participation remix contest for Mall Boyz's album Mall Tape 3. Vocal data is distributed free, and applicants upload their mixes to YouTube or SoundCloud before posting on X with the hashtag. The deadline is September 24. Tohji and Mall Boyz select the winners, which are released as a remix album and used as BGM at Tohji's last live at Tokyo Dome on November 17.

Mall Boyz Drop First Full Album 'Mall Tape 3' With 19 Tracks

Japanese hip-hop unit Mall Boyz, formed by rappers Tohji and gummyboy, released their first full-length album 'Mall Tape 3' on June 10. The 19-track album follows the 2018 EP 'Mall Tape' and the 2023 EP 'Mall Tape 2', and features guest appearances from Elle Teresa, kZm, and others, with production by Chaki Zulu and more.
