Macross Delta remains active on the merchandise and convention circuit. Bandai Spirits has two new VF-31AX Kairos Plus releases in production and a Hayate Immelman version in planning as a 10th anniversary edition, while Anime NYC hosted a Macross panel and a screening of the Delta film on August 22.
Macross Delta's current activity runs through Bandai Spirits' model and figure lines and through convention programming. The most recent announcements concern the VF-31AX Kairos Plus, a craft associated with Delta pilots. Bandai Spirits confirmed that the Chuck Mustang and Arad Melders versions of the VF-31AX Kairos Plus are set for release in the DX Chogokin line, which carries internal mechanical reproduction and sound gimmicks. A Hayate Immelman version is in planning as a Macross Delta 10th anniversary edition. These follow the June 6, 2026 launch of the HG 1/100 VF-31E Siegfried (Chuck Mustang's Machine), a kit with a large radome and a swap-part transformation system. Three items shipped that day: the standard kit at 5,500 yen, a water-slide decal sheet at 770 yen, and a deluxe set with an acrylic stand and decals.
Convention programming put the series in front of an English-speaking audience. Anime NYC announced a Big West panel on the Macross franchise for August 22, paired with a screening of Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walkure. The same slate included the English dub premiere of Go Forward with director Phebe Fabacher at a Q&A, and the world premiere of the English dub of Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram.
Across the three stories, the pattern is steady: Delta's presence in 2026 is carried by Bandai Spirits releases across multiple grades and lines, plus an anniversary-branded Kairos Plus, and by a convention spotlight that also covers the wider Macross franchise. The Chuck Mustang machine appears twice, first as an HG kit and later as a DX Chogokin release, showing the character's craft carried across two product lines.
