Medicom Toy has listed three new MAFEX action figures for December 2027, all priced at 14,080 yen with tax included. The first two come from Daredevil: Born Again: a Daredevil figure at roughly 15 cm with four head parts (masked, gritted teeth, shouting, and unmasked), plus a broken-horn mask option and a billy club that connects, swaps holders and extends an anchor tip. The Punisher ships at the same height and price with three heads and a set of firearms and knives. The third figure is The Flash in the Batman suit from the movie The Flash, standing about 15.5 cm with three heads, lightning effect parts and replacement damage parts. Head prototypes for the two Marvel figures are credited to Yusuke Kasahara, and the Flash head to Kyoichi Shimazaki. Prototyping across all three is by OWS modeling and PERFECT-STUDIO for the Marvel pair, and tresco modeling and PERFECT-STUDIO for the Flash. All three are finished toys with movable joints and an articulated stand.

Chaos Zero Nightmare, the deck-building roguelike developed by SUPER CREATIVE and operated by Smilegate, got its Galaxy Disaster Season 5 update, "Promise Made in the Snow," on October 21. The update marks the game's first anniversary and adds a new combatant, Rossweisse, voiced by Ayaka Suwa. The game runs on PC, iOS, and Android. A beginner guide written by a player of both Chaos Zero Nightmare and Slay the Spire argues the game is not a Slay the Spire with attractive characters, and points to its party system as the clearest difference. Exploration runs with three combatants at once, so players build three decks in parallel while weighing how each character's card pool covers another's weakness. The guide calls that a step beyond the single-deck building Slay the Spire uses. GungHo Online Entertainment will run a technical test for B.L.U.E. NOVA on PC via Steam from October 30 to November 1, 2026, each day from 19:00 to 23:00, with applications open on the game's Steam store page until October 29 at 10:00. The free-to-play PvE shooter is planned for release in 2027 and puts up to 30 players on the planet Deebal, where the development AI EVE has turned its machine army, the Singular, against the human settlers. Players drop in as mercenaries called Heroes and push toward the Master Tower at the center of a randomly generated field, breaking layered barriers and clearing towers along the way. The core system is R.I.N.G.: when players come near each other, a ring forms automatically, and anyone inside fires without reloading. A party holds up to six, and the best performer in the ring can call in a rideable mech as a Ring Ultimate Skill. Two Heroes, the assault type Blaze and the support sniper Seraphie, are playable in the build.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the third numbered entry in the series, is scheduled for release in 2027 on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A hands-on session covered one online mode: four-player PvE quests, part of a multiplayer suite that supports up to eight players and also includes 4-vs-4 PvP and 1-vs-1 PvP. The single-player story is set in AGE 1000, 200 years after the era depicted in Dragon Ball, and is said to have roughly 25 hours of playtime, about twice the volume of the previous game. There are 130 characters, and mentor-student relationships return. The new Soul Change system lets a player adopt a character's soul and battle style, while Soul Assist summons a character for support. Three quests were played: a 50-enemy gauntlet, a defense quest against the Ginyu Force, and a traversal quest ending in a fight with Jiren and Toppo.

Evil Geniuses CEO Chris DeAppolonio announced that the organization will fully halt competitive activities and day-to-day business operations as of November 2, 2026.
