Netflix announced on Monday that it is working with Sega on three adaptations of Sega games. The companies are producing a live-action comedy film based on Crazy Taxi, written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, plus a live-action crime film inspired by the upcoming Stranger Than Heaven. A third project is a children's animated Sonic the Hedgehog series aimed at upper preschoolers. Neal H. Moritz and Toby Ascher produce the Crazy Taxi film with Sega's Toru Nakahara, who also produces the other two.
