Lucasfilm Games released a new trailer for "Star Wars: Galactic Racer" during the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream on June 6, confirming an October 6 release date. The racing game is set in the outer rim of the galaxy after the Empire's fall, during the New Republic's reconstruction. An underground racing circuit called the Galactic League has emerged, where syndicates fund pilots and racers compete in life-threatening races for quick fortunes. Players control a lone racer named Shade, who seeks revenge and glory. The game features a story-driven campaign and planned PvP modes. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Pre-orders opened alongside the trailer. Publisher Secret Mode showed footage of races on the planet Darven Akos, depicting various characters and hinting at a serious narrative beyond the racing itself.

At COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2026, Nitro Concepts showed the E-Racer racing sim rig, which uses fans to blow air in sync with race speed and a vibration unit called Immersion Track to simulate road feel through the seat. The frame alone costs nearly $400.

Acer announced the Nitro Blaze Link, a portable device specialized for remote play of PC games via Wi-Fi, on May 31. It streams gameplay from a host gaming PC, similar to the PlayStation Portal. The device features a 7-inch touchscreen, full controller layout, Wi-Fi 6 support, and weighs 464g. It runs Debian Linux with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM. Release is set for Q4 2025 overseas; pricing is unannounced.
