The 13th and final volume of Oreko Tachibana's Firefly Wedding announced on Monday that Tachibana will launch a new manga in Shogakukan's Manga ONE app this winter. The preview teases two powerful leaders at odds who must never fall in love: the prince of a country of men and the chief of a country of women. Firefly Wedding ran on Manga ONE from January 2023 to February 2.
The final Firefly Wedding volume also carries a spinoff book, compiled from seven monthly chapters Tachibana drew between February 2 and August 3. The first two were titled "Koi to Doku"; the next five ran as "Hitokiri to Yōdō." Both books released on Monday.
The main series ended on February 2 after starting on Manga ONE in January 2023. Viz Media publishes it in English, with the eighth volume out on October 13, and the television anime debuted on October 9 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block, streaming on Crunchyroll. A live-action adaptation is slated for 2027.
