Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine announced Wednesday that Negi Haruba's Go, Go, Loser Ranger! is on hiatus due to the creator's health. The announcement gave no return date. The manga previously went on hiatus on July 8 and came back on September 24. It entered its final arc on March 18, after a month-long break. Haruba launched the series in Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2021; it has two anime seasons.
The announcement came in this year's 47th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, and it left the return date blank. That is the part that matters: Go, Go, Loser Ranger! is in its final arc, which began on March 18 after a month-long break. The series then went out again on July 8 and came back on September 24. Wednesday's notice is the second stoppage since the summer.
Haruba launched the manga in February 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English release, and the anime has run two seasons, the first in April 2024 and the second in April 2025, both streamed on Disney+ and available on Hulu in North America.
