Maestro Brings Its Orchestra Baton To Switch 2 And Switch
A Meta Horizon Store Game of the Year 2024 winner in VR is now selling to a console audience that already owns the Joy-Con, which tests whether the conducting gesture holds up without a headset.

Double Jack has released the Switch 2 and Switch version of Maestro, an orchestra-conducting rhythm game controlled with two Joy-Con. The port carries 38 songs, from Beethoven, Mozart and Vivaldi to music from Game of Thrones, Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings, plus a Switch-exclusive Attack on Titan DLC. Gestures, camera and hand animations were rebuilt for monitor play. It is out now at 4,980 yen with a demo.
The Switch release keeps the podium, the Paris opera house and the two-hand baton control, but drops the headset. Double Jack rebuilt the gestures for Joy-Con and reworked the camera and hand animations for a screen, with the Switch 2 version running at higher graphics settings and frame rate.
Table mode and TV mode are supported. Local play sharing, which would let friends cheer from the opera house seats, is planned for later. Two paid DLC packs are already on sale alongside the base game.
