In Us Co-Op Horror Game Will Be Playable At Tokyo Game Show 2026

Yaneura Games announced on September 15 that its up-to-4-player co-op horror game In Us will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe. At the indie game corner, one or two people can play at a time. A closed beta test on Steam is planned after the event, with timing and participation method to be announced later.

The playable build is the latest demo for In Us, shown at the indie game corner in the DG booth. Players take the role of exorcists in a village whose residents are possessed by demons. They grab, throw, and destroy objects to collect traces called zanshi, analyze the residue to narrow down the location of the Magagiri, then surround it with companions and divide roles between restraining and attacking.

Demons can attack at any point during the work, so groups choose between breaking off to help a companion, continuing while protected, or hiding. After the Magagiri is defeated, players can leave while safe or stay longer for rewards. The supported platform is PC via Steam, and the release date is undecided.
