Votoms Films Teaser Names Mika Nakashima Theme, Sets November 20 Opening
The teaser puts a release date and a completed song behind a project whose creative lineup, Oshii directing with Takahashi supervising and Kenji Kawai scoring, was already the story, so the films now move from staffing news to a dated release.

The two Sunrise and Production I.G films in the Armored Trooper Votoms: Haiiro no Hexe project have a teaser, a new visual, and a theme song. Mika Nakashima performs "Na mo Naki Shijin no Yō ni" for the first film, with THE ALFEE's Toshihiko Takamizawa writing, composing, and arranging. Mamoru Oshii directs, Ryōsuke Takahashi supervises, and the first film opens in Japan on November 20.
The teaser also confirms the voice cast. Miyuki Sawashiro plays Ash Vamps, the AT pilot known as the Grey Witch, and Mabuki Andou plays Maki Stauffenberg, the officer assigned to look into Ash's past. Shinichirō Miki, Yūki Kaji, Yūichi Nakamura, and Tomokazu Sugita are among the supporting cast.
Mamoru Oshii directs both films, with original Votoms director and creator Ryōsuke Takahashi supervising. Kenji Kawai composes the music, a pairing that carries over from Ghost in the Shell and Patlabor 2.
