Venn Studios Shows Rogue Reigns, A PC Deck-Builder For November 3
Venn Studios is developing Rogue Reigns alongside two other projects, Paradoxical and Dark Island: Faded Memories, so the November 3 PC release is the first output from a studio working on three titles at once.

Venn Studios, a Sao Paulo indie developer, presented Rogue Reigns at Brasil Game Show 2026, held from October 9 to 12 at Distrito Anhembi. Maycol Marcondes Vargas described a deck-building roguelike with three to four characters, each carrying a separate deck, and a party whose agendas conflict so that giving a card to one character takes it from another. The PC release is set for November 3, with Japanese subtitles and voice.
The game is in development on Venn Studios' own engine, and Vargas cited Slay the Spire as a strong influence. The team also played other titles, Darkest Dungeon among them, before arriving at a version they were happy with.
Runs use randomly generated maps, with a final boss at the endpoint. Beating that boss unlocks new cards, so the deck changes across attempts along with the map. A separate presence stalks the party through the run; a loss to it cannot be undone, unlike an ordinary defeat, which returns the player with a stitched-together body.
