Off By One Games Releases Raccoon Co-op Game Trash Day on Steam

Off By One Games released the physics-based co-op adventure Trash Day on PC via Steam on October 14, 2026. The studio is based in San Diego, California and Flagstaff, Arizona, and was founded in 2023 by developers with more than ten years of shared work, including on Rocket League. Trash Day supports up to six players, who control raccoons that escape from Animal Control, steal a wagon, fill it with trash, and cross six areas toward the goal of Raccoon Heaven. Obstacles include roads with traffic, bear traps, falling rocks, and rivers, and players push, pull, and steer the wagon together. The regular price is 1,050 yen including tax, with a 10 percent launch discount to 945 yen including tax through October 28. The soundtrack has 22 licensed songs, with Tokyo Machine contributing CRANK.

Six distinctive areas run from Animal Control through the wilderness to the Junkyard. The free demo covered only one area, so five more opened with the full release. Each stage holds small nods to the developers' Rocket League past, which the studio says Rocket League players will notice.

Players use stretchy ropes and planks to get the wagon over, under, and through traffic. A wheel can come off and be reattached; a tipped wagon can be set upright. Territorial boss animals can be distracted. Outside the wagon runs, players climb, wear hats, stack on each other, launch friends off a seesaw, and eat junk food.

The soundtrack of 22 licensed songs centers on Southern California roots-folk trio Forkroot and Los Angeles indie rock band TRASH DAY, whose song "Get Up!" plays in the launch trailer. Off By One Games co-founder Corey Davis said plans in the game "go wrong in laughably spectacular fashion," adding the studio had always made physics games that "demand perfect precision, and this game does the exact opposite." Tokyo Machine said of returning: "I've been with these guys since the Rocket League days." All songs are exempt from Content ID, so creators can stream and monetize gameplay.
