Yusuke Shirai is active in three roles across the 2026 anime and stage slate: Felix Star residents in Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly Part 2, Shō Manao in Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. season 2, and the Hypnosis Mic cast. The two cast announcements came in August and September 2026, weeks before the Hypnosis Mic 12th live on October 3 and 4.
Yusuke Shirai's 2026 coverage is built on three cast credits across two anime and one concert. On August 8, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. announced he will play Shō Manao, described as a mysterious but gentle man without a past, in season 2. The season premiered on NTV on July 4, directed by Riki Fukushima at J.C.STAFF with Michiko Yokote as script supervisor. The manga had ended in July 2025.
Less than a month later, on September 3, Bandai Namco Filmworks named him among the new cast for the second cours of Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly, which debuts on October 4 on Tokyo MX and other channels. Both he and Yuko Natsuyoshi join as Felix Star residents. The same announcement confirmed that K-pop group ILLIT and the idol unit Lulutto Lilly return for the new opening and ending themes.
In October, Shirai appears in the Hypnosis Mic 12th live concert, MIC AS ONE, held October 3 and 4, 2026 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. The show brings together all 21 cast members from seven divisions, the six male divisions plus Chuou Division, and was shown via live viewing at cinemas across Japan and streamed on ABEMA. Shirai is named among the cast alongside Subaru Kimura, Shintaro Asanuma, Sho Hayami, Ryota Iwasaki, Shota Hayama and Yuu Kobayashi.
