Yokoi is credited on new drawings for two separate October 2026 merchandise pushes: the Sunrise World Deformed Robot Fair VOL.3 and the Ultra TIPSTAR collaboration. The stories name him only as an artist; no other role is stated.
Yokoi appears in two merchandise campaigns that both begin in October 2026. Bandai Namco Filmworks will hold "SUNRISE WORLD ~Deformed Robot Fair~ VOL.3" at 6 Sunrise World stores starting October 9. The fair features deformed robots from six works, including Space Runaway Ideon, Fang of the Sun Dougram, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Brave of the Sun Fighbird, Future GPX Cyber Formula, and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Original items use newly drawn illustrations by Koji Yokoi, alongside new products from Bukubu Okawa's web manga IP Police Tsuzuki-chan.
The second campaign is Ultra TIPSTAR, an Ultraman collaboration tied to the series' 60th anniversary run by the keirin and auto race betting service TIPSTAR. It runs from Monday, October 5, 2026 through Sunday, November 1, 2026. Registering and logging in unlocks a dedicated app UI and stamps. Players can also enter campaigns to win embroidered sukajan jackets, T-shirts, caps, and QUO cards, some featuring new drawings by artist Yokoi.
Across both stories the one consistent fact is that Yokoi supplies new drawings for licensed merchandise. One story gives the full name Koji Yokoi; the other gives only the surname Yokoi.
