Bandai Spirits will open preorders on Monday, November 2, 2026 for an S.H.Figuarts set pairing Haruka Todo from the original TV anime Vertex Force with the Graviton Engine. The figure stands about 140mm; the Graviton Engine is an assembly kit that reaches roughly 230mm after building. HoYoverse announced on October 23, 2026 that Genshin CAFE, the first official permanent cafe for Genshin Impact, will open on January 20, 2027 on the third floor of Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo. The address given is 2-7-1 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku. The concept is "A detour along the journey," and the cafe aims to be a place where players can take a breather alongside memories of their adventures in Teyvat. HoYoverse plans food menus that express the game's world, limited goods sold only at the cafe, and various campaigns. A key visual and a teaser PV were released alongside the announcement. HoYoverse will release Genshin Impact Version 7.2, subtitled "When the End Descends," on November 4. The update opens Chapter VII Acts 5 and 6 of the Archon Quest, in which Ronova triggers abnormalities in each nation's Nails of Condemnation and pushes Teyvat toward the destruction of civilization. At the Tsaritsa's call, representatives of the seven nations gather in Snezhnaya, and the Traveler fights alongside each nation's gods, Neuvillette, and companions from across the map. Two new playable Electro characters join: the 5-star Mitiya, a Catalyst user voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi, and the 4-star Valery, a Sword user voiced by Makoto Furukawa. A new area in eastern Snezhnaya opens with the ore town Novokichev, Wing's Peak and Old Kichev. The linked event Global Defense: Rebellion Against Unjust Judgment lets players pick one 4-star character from a roster that includes Amber, Xiangling, Thoma, Collei, Lynette, Kachina, Aino and Alyosha. HoYoverse also announced a permanent Genshin CAFE at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo, opening January 20, 2027.

Chinese indie studio OMEGAMES STUDIO announced DreamDivers on October 23, 2026, a co-op adventure for up to four players. Players are Dream Divers employed by the dream network company Suomeng, diving into other people's dreams to recover buried memories. Dreams hold strange places and puzzles, with footholds that cannot be crossed alone and mechanisms that need multiple players. HoYoverse will stream a release preview program for Petit Planet on November 1 at 20:00 on its official YouTube channel and X account. The company announced the broadcast on October 23. Petit Planet is a slow-life game in which players become a Hoshimibito and grow a star by reshaping its terrain and arranging areas, with farming, fishing, furniture crafting, and interaction with neighbors and friends who arrive from the sea of stars. Development team members and special guests will appear on the stream to unpack what the program calls the "first page" of life on the star, with game content plus upcoming events and campaigns. Silver Pines is a side-scrolling horror game about private detective Red Walker, who wakes in a deserted diner as an evacuation order repeats on the radio and a record-breaking storm approaches. His client Jackman wants him to find missing musician Eddie Velvet, last seen at the Crimson Bear Motel. Walker's movements are rotoscoped from live action, and the game pairs survival horror combat with Metroidvania exploration, with a Polaroid camera used to map locked doors and out-of-reach supplies.

Kuma Werke has published the Steam store page for Keep It Smiling, an incremental game about feeding a giant mouth. Players dig up cookie- and avocado-shaped food to find new ingredients, which then produce automatically. Digging the same ingredient raises production speed and value, and stars collected while digging buy upgrades. A Gummy Duck Lab lets players make gelatin ducks for the mouth. A release date is not given.

Circana's September 2026 U.S. sales report puts Marvel's Wolverine, the Insomniac Games action-adventure published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, in first place. According to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella, the PS5 title posted the highest first-month dollar sales for a Sony-published game since Helldivers 2, which launched in February 2024 on PS5 and PC. Despite launching in mid-September, Marvel's Wolverine took the monthly top spot. PS5 dollar sales rose 43 percent year on year and unit sales 22 percent, giving PlayStation its highest monthly hardware sales share since May 2025. Xbox Series X|S fell 27 percent and Switch 2 fell 14 percent. Ampere data cited in the report has Marvel's Wolverine at about 2.16 million copies globally in September, second among PS5 titles behind EA Sports FC 27. The top 10 included Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Ace Combat 8. Recent Sony releases such as Astro Bot, Stellar Blade and Ghost of Yotei had smaller first months.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will release in 2027. In a joint interview published on October 22 alongside a hands-on demo event, the development team explained why the game is set in the future era AGE 1000. Producer Masayuki Hirano said the team felt it had done all it could with the experience of entering the original Dragon Ball world and fighting there. With Xenoverse 2 having passed 10 million units, the team wanted to show a world no one had seen. Hirano said the direction was decided after consulting Akira Toriyama and the companies involved. The game keeps training and fighting alongside existing characters. Combat situations expand beyond one-on-one to one-versus-many, many-versus-many, and battles with special rules. The protagonist belongs to a team called the GS (Great Saiyaman) Squad. Co-op is built around four-player missions, and the retail version includes fights against large bosses.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the third numbered entry in the series, is scheduled for release in 2027 on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A hands-on session covered one online mode: four-player PvE quests, part of a multiplayer suite that supports up to eight players and also includes 4-vs-4 PvP and 1-vs-1 PvP. The single-player story is set in AGE 1000, 200 years after the era depicted in Dragon Ball, and is said to have roughly 25 hours of playtime, about twice the volume of the previous game. There are 130 characters, and mentor-student relationships return. The new Soul Change system lets a player adopt a character's soul and battle style, while Soul Assist summons a character for support. Four avatar races were selectable: Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, and Frieza Clan. Three quests were played: a 50-enemy gauntlet, a defense quest against the Ginyu Force, and a traversal quest ending in a fight with Jiren and Toppo.

The game costs 4,950 yen including tax for both packaged and download versions, and it supports one player offline. Developer Drecom and publisher Arc System Works call the genre a training RTA simulation RPG built on the concept of enjoying evil. Battles center on the Servant Overwork System, where players blow up their own minions with Kill Skills and Sacrifices to clear enemies. At the hideout, five actions (Evil Deeds, Plunder, Recruitment, Treasure Hunting, and Vice Sublimation) earn Vice Points, but every action advances a turn. The story follows the evil god Gigasugoideath, who turns into a baby, and Kyoshiro Jaryuin, a young man who hates the world. Each chapter boss defeated changes the scenario, switching to situations such as becoming a monster to beat a sentai hero or a witch to beat magical girls.

Sugar Slip released a Japanese localization update for Serial Lover on October 22, 2026. The game is a dark comedy visual novel fused with a rhythm game, in which the protagonist wakes in an unfamiliar mansion with no memory and must win the hearts of six serial killers or be killed by them. Sugar Slip is a Toronto indie studio founded in 2019 by solo creator Slip, and Serial Lover is its debut title. The full version launched on Steam and itch.io on January 16, 2026. The price is 1,200 yen including tax, and a 20 percent discount brings it to 960 yen until October 29. Automaton reports the game has 167 Steam user reviews, 91 percent positive, for a Very Positive rating. The update also adds Simplified Chinese and Korean, localized by KURONO STUDIOS, with final LQA by Active Gaming Media.

Bethesda has released the officially approved Fallout 4 mod FEVer Dreams, made by Kinggath Creations. It is set in the restarted military research base Camp Jefferson. Players begin with no weapons, poisoned and hallucinating from an FEV strain, and must gather gear, solve puzzles and fight through a secret facility to find a cure. Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club posted a memorial comment on its official X account on October 21 and put its original production Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Part 3: Middle-Aged Struggle Edition on the Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official channel free for three days. The stream runs from 1:00 p.m. on October 21 until 11:59 p.m. on October 23. The work is an official sequel made for the 30th anniversary of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, the 18th Super Sentai series, which aired from 1994 to 1995. It streamed on TTFC in 2024 and reunites the original cast 30 years later as middle-aged versions of their roles. Hiroshi Tsuchida, who played Saizou, also called NinjaBlue, died of heart failure on October 11 at age 54, a death his agency 81 Produce announced on October 20. TTFC said it wanted as many people as possible to see his work and to give viewers a chance to remember him, and thanked the parties who consented to the stream.

The broadcast runs on the official Genshin YouTube channel and official X account. Yusuke Kobayashi (voice of Mitiya), Ayumu Murase (voice of Venti), and Gen Sato (voice of Alyosha) are listed as the cast for the program. The thumbnail image for the stream shows Anastasia alongside Mitiya, Vesna, and Noi. Noi is voiced by Shinichiro Miki and was named as one of the new characters at the opening of Snezhnaya. Hotta Studio's free-to-play open-world RPG NTE: Neverness to Everness added Akaneru Rin as a playable character on October 21, 2026, in the second half of the Ver.1.4 update. Rin is voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa and is available on a limited banner running until November 11 at 6:59. She works at the live house Star Sign and fights as a Hetero-ability main attacker whose weapon is an electric guitar. Her normal attack Strum Break builds a resource called String Sound to a cap of 30, and her By-Rail skill Rhythm Wave sets either a single-target marker (Harmonize) or a multi-target zone (Live Area) lasting 25 seconds each. At full String Sound she fires the enhanced skill Overdrive, which makes her invincible during the strike. Her EX Rail finisher Sound Blast opens a 20-second Solo Part state and switches the background music to a dedicated track, which can be turned off in settings. Outside combat she can play the guitar anywhere in the world.
