Miniature photographer Tatsuya Tanaka recreated the bus stop scene from Studio Ghibli's 'My Neighbor Totoro' using sushi, with fatty tuna standing in for Totoro. The piece, titled 'Tonari no Otoro,' shows Satsuki and Mei holding umbrellas with Totoro at an Inari-mae bus stop on a sushi geta. Tanaka shared the work on Instagram and X, and social media users responded with praise for the playful take on the film.
NHK will air memorial programs for actress Keiko Kishi, who died on August 7. Scheduled broadcasts include the drama 'Under the Mango Tree' on August 30, an encore of 'Sunday Museum: Nibi 50 Special Encore' on September 5, and the 1960 film 'Ototo Restored Version' on September 29. bilibili is releasing Lumi Master, a monster capture and raising RPG for iOS and Android. The game features hand-drawn visuals and a vertical screen where players tap to progress, with random events for capture, battles, and resource gathering. Producer Toto says almost all major operations can be completed within two steps. The project started in November 2024 and aims to deliver a casual monster collection experience with time efficiency.
