Takehiko Inoue Draws Congratulatory Illustration for World Is Dancing Anime

Takehiko Inoue, creator of Slam Dunk, drew a congratulatory illustration for the TV anime World Is Dancing, which premiered July 2. The illustration depicts protagonist Oniyasha in Inoue's style. Inoue was a former assistant to original author Kazuto Mihara. The opening video, set to Macaroni Enpitsu's "Shuyo", transitions from black-and-white to color. The anime is directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi and produced by Cypic, with Yumiri Hanamori voicing Oniyasha.

Magi Arts Turns White Album 2 Reunion Art Into 1/6 Scale Figures

MAGI ARTS has opened pre-orders for 1/6 scale figures of Setsuna Ogiso and Kazusa Touma from WHITE ALBUM 2, based on character designer Takeshi Nakamura's new illustrations for the 2023 "School Festival 2023 ~reunion~" event. Each figure costs 21,780 yen at AmiAmi and ships in April 2027.

The game, which already saw 50,000 downloads on itch.io after its May 21 release, has players care for a dog that appears flat from every angle. A sequel, 'TAKE CARE OF THE CAT,' has been announced.
