Adam Wathan, founder of Tailwind Labs, announced on September 9, 2026 that the company is joining Shopify. Tailwind CSS, which Wathan began developing nine years ago, is installed more than 110 million times per week and is used by ChatGPT, X, Cloudflare, Reddit and Shopify.
