The pair discussed how the project began, why Balteus was chosen as the first unit, and the challenges of building a large-scale model with a 156-tube missile launcher.
Bandai announced SMP Storage Collection 02, a candy toy kit series based on Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. The set includes GaoKing, GaoHunter, and GaoMuscle in two color variants each, totaling six kits. It releases August 24, 2026, for 990 yen.
Bandai Candy Division is releasing SMP Power Animal Series Extra, a new candy toy line that turns five Power Animals from Hyakujuu Sentai GaoRanger into model kits for the first time. The figures are based on original design drawings from 2002 and include new combination gimmicks with existing GaoKing kits.
