Adventure Game Silence Free on GOG Until July 10
GOG.com began a limited-time free distribution of Daedalic Entertainment's adventure game 'Silence' on July 7, 2026. The point-and-click adventure follows 16-year-old Noah and his younger sister Renny, who flee into an air raid shelter during wartime and find themselves transported to a world between life and death called 'Silence.' This otherworld is under attack by dark monsters, and the siblings must cooperate with characters including a magical caterpillar named Spot to survive and restore peace. The game originally released in November 2016 and holds a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam. The free distribution on GOG runs until 10:00 PM JST on July 10. Adding the game to a GOG library during the period grants permanent access. Separately, Steam is offering a 90% discount on the game through July 10. GOG is also running a summer sale covering over 8,000 items, ending July 9 at 4:00 PM JST.
