Infold Games launched the Suiei no Shizumu Chi event for Shining Nikki on September 9. The centerpiece is the Suimu no Haru set outfit built around a doll specimen concept, with a butterfly-wing silhouette, a pin accessory, and three color styles. A new polarized color feature and an 8-color palette expand customization. The event runs through September 22.
The October issue of Shogakukan's Ciao magazine announced that manga creator Nao Maita will launch a new manga in the magazine's February 2027 issue on December 28. The announcement did not reveal the manga's title or other details. The same issue published the final chapter of Maita's Shining! manga.
The second season of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon -Shining Theater Shinagawa Tokyo- opened August 3 at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club eX. The new story pits the Sailor Guardians against Queen Valsia, an AI-powered enemy who steals Usagi's heart and alters her friends. New songs and direct gift-giving were added. A double cast splits into Team Gold Moon and Team Silver Moon.
Nao Maita's Shining! manga will end in two more chapters, according to the August issue of Shogakukan's Ciao magazine. The series, which launched in July 2023, follows elementary school girl Nene who meets popular actor Taki. The eighth compiled volume shipped in April, and the ninth volume is scheduled for July 24.
Broccoli and KLab announced release dates for two Uta no Prince-sama games on June 24, the 16th anniversary of the franchise's first game. The Nintendo Switch title Uta no Prince-sama Dolce Vita, a completely new game first announced in 2016, will launch in 2027. The game was originally planned for PlayStation Vita before being moved to Switch in 2019. Uta no Prince-sama Shining Live for Nintendo Switch, a port of KLab's smartphone rhythm game that ended service in 2023, will release on December 17, 2026. The announcements were part of an eight-item information drop on a special website, which also included details on a flagship store tour, a yukata collaboration with designer Keita Maruyama, new content for the Live Emotion app, a drama CD, a book series, and a 3D live event scheduled for March 2027. The first visual for Dolce Vita was also released, showing the 11 idols of Shining Agency.
The Nintendo Switch port of Uta no Prince-sama Shining Live launches December 17, 2026. Animate will offer exclusive bundles including a drama CD and merchandise of characters Otoya, Sho, Reiji, and Ai. The game packs over six years of content from the mobile app, with 76 songs base and 129 total via DLC.
