Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? Anime Teaser Debuts, January 2027 Premiere Set
The official website for the television anime of Ryon's Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? (Jirai nandesu ka? Chihara-san) posted the teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime will debut in January 2027 in the Super Animeism Turbo block on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels, running Thursdays at 00:26, effectively Fridays at 12:26 a.m. The staff had previously announced the anime would air in 2026. Yasuaki Fujii directs at Synergy SP. Keiichiro Ochi oversees series scripts, Majiro designs characters, and Arisa Okehazama composes music at King Records. The cast is Sayumi Suzushiro as Mai Chihara, Kazuki Ura as Kuroki, Maaya Uchida as Chinatsu Iwakura, Tomokazu Sugita as Hibiya, and Daisuke Ono as Kazami. The teaser shows Kuroki seated beside Mai Chihara at the start of a new semester. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga and will start its English release on September 29, 2026.
