SIE's First Desktop Wireless Speaker PULSE Elevate Launches November 12
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on August 19 that its first desktop gaming wireless speaker, the PULSE Elevate Wireless Speaker, will launch on November 12. The speaker comes in Midnight Black and White color options, each priced at 37,980 yen including tax. Pre-orders begin sequentially on September 1 at PlayStation retailers nationwide. The PULSE Elevate was first shown during a State of Play presentation in September 2025, and this announcement finally confirms its release date and price. The speaker uses a proprietary planar magnetic driver and a built-in woofer for bass, and it supports PlayStation Link for ultra-low latency, lossless wireless connection via an included USB-C adapter, as well as Bluetooth. It works with PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC, Mac, and smartphones. A microphone with AI-enhanced noise reduction is built into the right speaker unit, allowing voice chat without a headset. The proprietary connection and Bluetooth can be used simultaneously, so users can listen to game audio from a PS5 while taking calls on a Bluetooth-connected phone. The speaker has a rechargeable battery and comes with a charging dock for desktop use.
