KRAFTON announced PUBG: DED.NET during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, a new multiplayer FPS with roguelite elements set in an occult horror world. The game is set in the 1990s in a region called Cascadia, where players build play styles through trial and error and adapt their loadouts as acquired items change combat. Developed by PUBG Madison, the title is planned for PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Alongside the announcement, KRAFTON opened applications for a closed beta test, with pre-registration available on the official website. The reveal footage showed an outlaw yet cheerful atmosphere with intense vehicle-based gunfights characteristic of the PUBG series. The Steam store page lists it as an online PvP title. This is the latest entry in the PUBG series, following other spin-offs like PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a top-down team versus team shooter. The announcement marks a return to the core shooter identity for the franchise, which recently released a romance sim where the heroine is a firearm.
