Pragmata

Pragmata, Capcom's sci-fi action-adventure, has been steadily building toward its 2026 release across multiple fronts. The most concrete signal came from gamescom 2026, where a new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override previewed collaboration skins themed after Mega Man and Roll for Pragmata's characters Hugh and Diana, with those skins scheduled for 2026. That same event also put Pragmata in the spotlight through NVIDIA's DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction update, which was tested in the game and showed improved handling of path-traced light sources, with afterimages from lasers disappearing more quickly and naturally.

Hardware and retail have also aligned. Mouse Computer's G TUNE brand launched PRAGMATA-verified gaming PCs on June 29, bundling a game-specific performance guarantee for ray tracing and DLSS 4. The game appeared in the May 2026 PS Store download rankings at second place on PS5, and it opened Summer Games Done Quick 2026 with a speedrun slot. Capcom's technical process for Diana was detailed at CEDEC2026, where developers Kenji Irie and Serina Kohara explained the pursuit of a 'Diana-like and cute' look, the manual editing of motion capture noise, and the decision to commit to long hair over a bob cut.

Beyond the core game, Pragmata has been part of seasonal marketing moments. It participated in International Cat Day on August 8 and in Tanabata wishes in July. A collaboration apparel line with vaultroom, launching August 16, includes a white VR x PRAGMATA tee, a charcoal DIANA tee, and a black VR x CABIN crewneck, with prices ranging from 9,900 yen to 19,800 yen. The game is set for a 2026 release, with the collaboration skins arriving that year.
