Robin Entertainment's in-development top-down 5v5 tactical shooter POLYSTRIKE has passed about 10,000 Steam wishlist registrations in less than three weeks since its official announcement. The game is a standalone rebuild of a Dota 2 custom game the developer started about seven years ago, which drew more than 200,000 players in its first week. Development runs on Unreal Engine 5, with a dynamic vision system built around information warfare.

POLYSTRIKE Announced: Top-Down Shooter Born From a DOTA2 Custom Game

Robin Entertainment announced POLYSTRIKE, a top-down competitive shooter for PC via Steam. The 5v5 tactical game features objective-based battles around the explosive 'Ironfish' object, sound-driven awareness, and vehicles. It originated as a DOTA2 custom game, and developer Mark Moshelad said Valve directly contacted him.
