MODEROID Adds Pacific Rim's Cherno Alpha As 22 cm Kit

Good Smile Company's MODEROID line is taking preorders for a plastic model kit of Cherno Alpha from Pacific Rim. The kit is about 22 cm tall with movable joints and interchangeable hands, and its exterior is modeled on the film's 3DCG. Swapping parts lets the arm punch sit extended or retracted. Clear parts come in pre-painted and unpainted versions, and molding colors, pre-painted parts and decals reproduce a color scheme close to the film's. The reference price is 8,900 yen; Rakuten Books lists it at 7,396 yen with tax.

Gipsy Danger From Pacific Rim Joins MODEROID Plastic Model Line

Good Smile Company announced a MODEROID plastic model of Gipsy Danger from the film Pacific Rim. The non-scale kit stands about 210mm tall, features articulated joints, and reproduces the exterior based on the film's 3DCG. It includes pre-painted and unpainted clear parts, plus interchangeable parts for plasma cannons and chain swords. It is scheduled for release in May 2027 at 8,500 yen.
