Serial Games released Pazumao ~Puzzle and Magical Overlord~ for PC on October 20, 2026, priced at 1,900 yen with a 15% discount to 1,615 yen through October 30. The falling-block puzzle game is set in a fantasy world where demons settle disputes through a puzzle called Magicalve, and Demon Lord candidates from tribes such as beastfolk and vampires compete for the throne.
FREEing is taking pre-orders at AmiAmi for an Overlord figure of Albedo in an apron. The 1/4 scale painted figure stands about 330mm tall and includes cloth net tights and a cloth apron, which the product listing says allows for different display arrangements. Sculpting and publishing are credited to FREEing. The reference price and the AmiAmi price are both 39,600 yen with tax, and release is scheduled for May 2027.
Matsuki, the illustrator of Overlord: New World, announced on Oct. 7, 2026 that the manga is on indefinite hiatus after being hospitalized. Chapter 24 is postponed, and the series pauses just as it began adapting the Holy Kingdom Arc. Kadokawa published a matching hiatus notice the same day on its KadoComi platform. No return date has been set, and Matsuki says production will resume after recovery.
Matsuki said on X on Wednesday that they have been hospitalized and need to recover and rest, so the Overlord [Shin] Sekai-hen manga is going on hiatus. The artist started the series in Kadokawa's Comp Ace in April 2024, and Kadokawa published the fourth compiled volume on March 26. The story picks up from the Overlord manga adaptation by Hugin Miyama and Satoshi Oshio.
Monochrome and Good Smile Company announced a new IP brand, Ignisphere, on September 25, along with its first game: the action RPG Dawngazer. Development is led by Takashi Noma, who directed and handled character design on Unicorn Overlord at Vanillaware. Noma left Vanillaware in March 2025, and game development now runs through Monochrome's studio, Ignisphia Studio. Monochrome handles planning and development, while Good Smile Company handles distribution and promotion. Music is by Yoshimi Kudo, credited on Unicorn Overlord and ELDEN RING. The teaser PV shows a medieval fantasy townscape, a white-haired figure carrying a sword, characters joining a procession, and a scene of kneeling before a grave. Dawngazer is scheduled for release in 2028 for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with Japanese, English, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) support. The Ignisphere brand is planned for figures and multiple light novel projects, including a novelization under KADOKAWA's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko.
DMM Factory opened preorders on Amazon.co.jp for a 1/7 scale Albedo figure from Overlord, dressed in her Hermes Trismegistus armor rather than her usual look. The painted PVC figure with base stands about 308mm tall, with sculpting by Reborn, paint by Shinya Suzuki, sculpting cooperation from Sparrow, and production cooperation from Alice Glint. It is priced at 34,480 yen with a scheduled release of February 28, 2027.
Alter showed its anime and game figure lineup at Mega Hobby EXPO 2026, held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at AKIBA_SQUARE in Akihabara, Tokyo. The anime side includes Nadia from Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Kasugano Sora -Elegant China Style- from Yosuga no Sora, and Shalltear Bloodfallen so-bin Ver. from Overlord. The game side includes Saber 20th Anniversary Ver. from Fate/stay night, Emma Sakuwa Key Visual Ver. from Mahou Shoujo no Majo Saiban, and three Touhou Project figures: Alice Margatroid, Yukari Yakumo, and Aya Shameimaru. Dengeki Hobby Web also lists uncolored prototypes of Remilia Scarlet, Flandre Scarlet, and Yuuka Kazami from the non-scale chibi figure series Arcana Chibi Kore. The outlet split its coverage into two reports (anime and game editions) and said other exhibitors showed items that will be covered separately, with a roundup page collecting all of it.
Dragon Horse is producing a six-piece Overlord trading figure box under the LIKE-yu line, made with AFORCE. AmiAmi and the AmiAmi Yahoo! Store are taking pre-orders, with a reference price of 7,920 yen including tax. Each box holds six randomly packed figures, roughly 50mm tall in PVC and ABS. Release is scheduled for December 2026.
FREEing has opened reservations for a 1/4 scale figure of Naberal Gamma from Overlord, dressed in a black bunny girl outfit. The figure stands roughly 320mm tall and includes fabric fishnet tights. It is priced at 39,600 yen on Amazon.co.jp and is scheduled for release on February 28, 2027. FREEing handled both the sculpt and the release of the piece, which is a plastic painted finished product.
Game music composer Yoshimi Kudo announced on August 30 that he opened a YouTube channel. He will upload tracks he wrote for Shingetsu Doukou, a game that ended service on July 23, 2026, with the developers' permission. Four videos are already published. Kudo's credits include Unicorn Overlord, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and Elden Ring.
Good Smile Company is releasing a Momon figure from the Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Movie under its POP UP PARADE SP line, and reservations are open now at Rakuten Books. The figure stands roughly 27 centimeters tall, which is larger than the standard POP UP PARADE releases. The SP line is described as offering luxurious specifications that go beyond the usual framework of the series, with a focus on sculpting and coloring. The figure is priced at 15,800 yen as a reference, but Rakuten Books is selling it for 14,208 yen including tax. The product page notes that the photos shown are of a sample and that actual product specifications may differ in part. Because the coloring process is done by hand, there may be slight differences between individual products. The base and support are also prototypes and may differ from the final product. This release follows a separate Overlord figure announcement from FREEing, which introduced a Shalltear Bloodfallen bunny figure in a jet-black outfit. The Momon figure is available for reservation now, though the product page warns it may sell out by the time a reader accesses it.
The Premium Masterwork Line Overlord Albedo ED Ver. statue is now accepting orders. The 1/4 scale piece recreates so-bin's illustration from the first season's ending, priced at 219,890 yen including tax. Release is scheduled for January to April 2028. The statue stands 77 cm tall and weighs about 16.05 kg, made from polystone with some parts in other materials.
Good Smile Company is adding Momonga from Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Movie to its POP UP PARADE SP figure line. The painted plastic finished figure stands about 270mm tall, includes a rocky terrain base, and uses metallic paint and weathering on the armor and great swords. It releases in April 2027 for 15,800 yen.
FREEing is releasing a 1/4 scale figure of Lupusregina Beta from Overlord in a bunny girl outfit. The figure stands about 295mm tall and 320mm long, features fabric fishnet tights, and is available for reservation on Amazon.co.jp for 44,000 yen. It is scheduled for release on April 30, 2027.
Prime 1 Studio's Premium Masterline line adds Overlord Albedo ED Ver., a 1/4 scale statue based on so-bin's Season 1 ending illustration. Reservations run from August 19 to October 19, 2026, priced at 219,890 yen. Release is scheduled between January and April 2028.
Good Smile Company announced a figma of Albedo, the Guardian Overseer of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, based on the theatrical film Overlord: Holy Kingdom Arc. The posable figure stands about 160mm tall, includes three expression parts and optional hands and legs, and is scheduled for release in June 2027.
Union Creative is releasing a figure of Ainz Ooal Gown based on the 10th anniversary illustration by original illustrator so-bin. The figure stands 340mm tall and includes a base. Pre-orders open July 10, 2026, with a June 2027 release. The price is 48,950 yen. Prototype by SELECT D, coloring by Shinya Suzuki.
Bandai Spirits revealed the full Ichiban Kuji Overlord prize lineup, including the Albedo and Shalltear Gracemaster figures, a Chokonokko figure, and a Last One Prize Albedo variant. Sales begin July 17, 2026, at 900 yen per draw.
Prime 1 Studio held a new product exhibition in Tokyo in June 2026, displaying statue figures announced during the online event NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVIII. The exhibition featured statues from Godzilla Minus One, including Godzilla vs. Shinsei Maru; the theatrical Chainsaw Man - Reze Arc, with figures of Chainsaw Man & Beam and Reze/Bomb; and Overlord. Masters of the Universe statues of He-Man and Skeletor were shown, alongside The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Treebeard with Merry & Pippin. Items from Aliens and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen were also on display. A separate part of the exhibition focused on Berserk, unveiling statues of Guts, Griffith, Zodd, Slan, and the Sea God's Whore. The exhibition was held at a location in Tokyo, and Dengeki Hobby Web published photo reports covering the new items.
