Ghost Town Games, the team behind Overcooked!, released new gameplay footage for Stage Fright, a two-player co-op mystery adventure in development. The game moves the studio's chaotic co-op style from the kitchen into a strange town, following three children named Drew, Blake, and Charlie. Players swap between pairs of characters to see the story from different angles while solving escape-room-style puzzles. It is scheduled for spring 2027.

Creative label KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO announced on June 19 that it will join the international charity event VTuber Summer Slam 2026 (VSS), organized by the US nonprofit Gamers Outreach. As part of the initiative, four affiliated artists-Rima, Koko, Kakyoin, and Hiyashi-will stream themselves playing the cooking action game Overcooked! 2 on the KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO official YouTube channel. The stream, titled Games for Every Kid: Charity Stream for Hospitalized Children, is scheduled for June 25 from 23:00 to 1:00 JST. It will be conducted primarily in English with Japanese translation. Donations collected during the stream will fund the delivery of GO Karts, mobile kiosk terminals equipped with game consoles, monitors, and controllers, to children's hospitals worldwide. VSS is a 10-day charity marathon running from June 19 to June 28, 2026, where VTubers globally raise funds to support hospitalized children. Gamers Outreach, founded in 2007, deploys GO Karts to over 500 medical facilities across 15 countries, providing more than 7.7 million gaming experiences annually.
