No Rest for the Wicked Gets October 2026 Release Date, PS5 Version Announced
Moon Studios, the developer behind the Ori series, announced that its action RPG No Rest for the Wicked will officially leave Early Access and launch version 1.0 in October 2026. The announcement came during Sony's State of Play stream on June 3. The PS5 version will launch simultaneously with the PC release. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam, where it has drawn over 1.8 million total players and recovered to a 'Very Positive' user review rating after a mixed launch. The October update will add new areas, a conclusion to the story, new character classes, and endgame content totaling over 60 hours of play. The PS5 version supports full cross-play and cross-save with the PC version. Versions for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S are planned but do not yet have release dates. The game is a top-down, Souls-like hack-and-slash RPG set on the island of Sacra, where players fight a demonic plague called the Pestilence and help rebuild a town. It supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players.
