Kotobukiya is making a 1/8 scale figure of Renne Bright in her outfit from The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II -CRIMSON SiN-. She is 17, the student council president of Aramis High School, and the figure shows her holding a large scythe. It releases April 2027 for 25,300 yen. The Kotobukiya Shop version includes an expression replacement part. The prototype is by Salle cato.

Trails in the Sky the 2nd Remake Was Never Planned, Falcom President Says

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 2nd, a full 3D remake of the 2006 PC game Trails in the Sky SC, launches September 17, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. In an interview with ASCII.jp, Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo said the remake was not planned when the 1st entered development. The team's high motivation and the 1st's reception set a one-year release target. He also explained why FC and SC were not merged into one game.

Nihon Falcom Reveals TGS 2026 Booth With Trails in the Sky the 2nd Goods

Nihon Falcom has published its exhibition details for Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe. The company's booth will sit inside the Konami Digital Entertainment booth and will center on a display area commemorating the release of Trails in the Sky the 2nd, scheduled for September 17, 2026. The exhibit will show unreleased illustrations and development documents, plus full-scale weapon replicas that visitors can hold for photo opportunities. Official cosplayers Kipi-san and Ojigi-san will appear as Estelle and Joshua. Attendees will receive a non-sale Puni Puni Can Badge set of seven types, with the daily type varying and quantities limited. Outside the venue and near JR Kaihimmakuhari Station, the company will hand out a special booklet and all ten types of an original uchiwa fan during the three public days. A special online live by Falcom jdk BAND will stream on September 19 at 10:30 a.m. and September 20 at 4:00 p.m., featuring popular Trails series songs; no live stage will be held at the venue.

Trails in the Sky the 2nd Demo Launches With Save Carryover

Nihon Falcom released the demo for Trails in the Sky the 2nd on August 20, 2026, at 11:00 JST. The demo covers the full opening of the game, from the prologue "A Maiden's Resolve" through the end of Chapter 1, "The Approaching Shadow," including sub-events and quests. Players can carry their save data from the demo into the full game, continuing from Chapter 2 onward. The demo is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. To mark the demo's release, Falcom also published the opening movie on the official website. The movie is based on the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC and presents each scene as a full 3D remake, including battles against giant bosses that the original could not express. The full game is scheduled for release on September 17, 2026, for the same platforms. The demo also includes the battle system that switches between quick and command battles, the new Brave Rush element, and the fishing minigame. Players who have clear data from Trails in the Sky the 1st can load it at the start of the demo to obtain the linked bonus "Classic Style SC." The demo does not support the Movie Viewing or Viewer Mode functions.

Nihon Falcom released the latest promotional trailer for the story RPG Trails in the Sky the 2nd on August 7, 2026. Based on the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, it depicts the conclusion of the journey of bracers Estelle and Joshua. The remake renews character expressions, revamps event scenes, and inherits a battle system that seamlessly switches between quick battles and command battles. It also includes enhanced actions for each character and production set across the entire Liberl Kingdom. Trails in the Sky the 2nd is scheduled for release on September 17, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Steam. The standard edition costs 8,800 yen, the Ouroboros Box costs 13,860 yen, and the Digital Deluxe Edition costs 12,650 yen, all tax included.

Trails in the Sky the 2nd Reveals Viewer Mode, Fishing System, and New Characters

Nihon Falcom released new details for "Trails in the Sky the 2nd" on July 23, 2026, covering a new Viewer Mode, a fishing minigame, and character profiles for Bracer Guild receptionists and senior bracers. The Viewer Mode lets players freely arrange characters, locations, motions, and costumes from the game and DLC to create scenes and take photos. The fishing system allows players to combine rods and bait to catch different fish, which are recorded in a fishing notebook; filling the notebook earns reward items. Kyoto Xanadu -Ouka Genbu- Pre-Releases Insert Song, Drops New Trailer

Trails in the Sky the 2nd Details Cassius Bright, New Orbment, and Attack Cooking

Nihon Falcom updated the official website for Trails in the Sky the 2nd on June 18, 2026, revealing new character profiles and system details. The full remake of Trails in the Sky SC is set for release on September 17, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC via Steam. The newly introduced characters include Brigadier General Cassius Bright (voiced by Kenji Hamada), Estelle's father who has rejoined the Royal Army after resigning as a bracer; General Morgan (Kozo Dozaka), the stubborn leader of the Border Regiment; Lieutenant Colonel Maximilian Seed (Kengo Takanashi), the captain of Ravenston Fortress; and Queen Alicia von Auslese (Eriko Nakamura), the 26th queen of Liberl. Duke Dunan (Yuta Odagaki) and his butler Philip Renard (Kazuki Kiyan) also return from the first remake. On the system side, the tactical orbment has been upgraded to a new model with seven quartz slots, up from six. Slot enhancements allow equipping higher-grade quartz and using more powerful orbal arts. Five high-level arts were shown: Blue Ascension, Silfarion, Abyss Fall, Lost Mobius, and Zodiac. The cooking system now includes attack dishes that can be produced when cooking fails; these can be used in command battles to deal damage without consuming CP or EP. Some dishes also provide buffs that carry over from quick battles to command battles for up to two turns.
