NieR: Automata

NieR:Automata is in an active merchandise and crossover cycle. The most recent event is Dead by Daylight's October 2026 NieR:Automata Collection, for which Behaviour Interactive has said it will adjust the 2B Legendary Skin after requests from Japan and overseas. No release date is set for the adjustments.

Across 2026, NieR:Automata's current activity runs through licensed collaborations and merchandise rather than a new game or anime entry. The newest thread is a Dead by Daylight crossover. The collection arrived in October 2026 with Legendary Skins for 2B and A2 plus Emil's Purpose for The Legion, after Behaviour Interactive teased it with a promotional video. Behaviour then said it plans to adjust the 2B skin after fix requests from Japan and overseas centered on the body type. No release date is set for those adjustments.

Collaboration also runs in the other direction. Yostar announced a livestream on July 11 at 20:00 JST to reveal details of an Azur Lane and NieR:Automata crossover, with MC Mafia Kajita and Ayaka Suwa, the voice of A2. The two reports on the broadcast differ on the name of one Yostar staff member, listing Dai Mirokugi in one and Dai Miki in the other.

Merchandise tied to the anime NieR:Automata Ver1.1a continues on a separate track. Max Factory is re-releasing the figma of 2B from the anime, with pre-orders open on Amazon.co.jp as of October 2, 2026 and a scheduled release date of July 31, 2027. COSPA has announced a YoRHa Unit jacket and t-shirt line for the same anime, with pre-orders until October 12 and general sales in mid-December 2026. MAYLA opened pre-orders for a 2B-inspired blouse until October 5, and Square Enix re-released FORMISM figures of 2B, 9S, and A2 in June 2026. Good Smile Company announced POP UP PARADE L size figures of 2B and A2 in August 2026 with no release dates or prices yet.

On the music side, the NieR:Orchestra Concert 12026 [YoRHa] tour features a full orchestra and chorus, original vocalists J'Nique Nicole and Emi Evans, and a new narrated story set before NieR:Automata. Creator Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe will attend the Seattle show.
