Ahead of the first new Keroro Gunso film in 16 years, the franchise has announced its first official collaboration with Mobile Suit Gundam. Footage shows Gundam appearing to help the Keroro Platoon, and new illustrations by Mine Yoshizaki and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko have been released. Collaboration plastic models will also be sold.

The upcoming "New Theatrical Version ☆ Keroro Gunsō: Revival and Immediate Crisis of Earth's Destruction!" has announced seven new guest voice actors, including Keigo Sato (JO1), Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS), Suzanne, Rina Watanabe (Hinatazaka46), Tomokazu Seki, Natsuki Hanae, and Koichi Yamadera. The film commemorates the anime's 20th anniversary and is the first new movie in 16 years, directed by Yuichi Fukuda. It opens nationwide on June 26.
