Ahead of the October 9, 2026 release of Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, producer Naoto Oyama and director Kento Kinoshita discussed the expansion in a joint interview at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Oyama said the Switch 2 version runs at a base 30 frames in handheld and TV modes and uses FSR frame generation, Capcom's first implementation of it, which players can turn on or off in the retail version. Kinoshita described Corrupted Monsters and end-game content separate from Hard Mode.
