To Love-Ru's Kentaro Yabuki Launches Charamix Project With AI Life Partner Characters
RiMoA Inc. announced on June 15 the launch of Charamix, a new character project with Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To Love-Ru and Black Cat, serving as character producer. The project's concept is a future where a favorite character accompanies daily life, aiming to help users with habits like sleep, health, beauty, and learning by combining characters, AI, and behavioral data. Two main characters were revealed: Myuna, an AI character voiced by Kona Tsukine, who is a serious honor student type; and Yohei, a cat-ninja hybrid voiced by Miu Miyake, who is timid but devoted. Keisuke Makino, known for work on the Persona series, handles character scenarios, with additional writers yet to be announced. The first unveiling event is scheduled for August 2 at TUNNEL TOKYO inside Sega headquarters, featuring Yabuki, the voice actors, narrator Hazuki Soda, and Makino. The event will offer limited goods and an autograph lottery. A supporter club has launched with early event registration. Submissions are open for Sleep Story, an original reading content piece for the Charamix app, planned for a fall 2026 release.
