Shochiku Games Sets A Game About Digging A Hole Together For Late 2026
Shochiku Games will release the digging simulation adventure game A Game About Digging A Hole Together in late 2026, jointly with indie publisher rokaplay. The game is in development at Mipumi Games. It supports online co-op for up to four players and is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox on PC. The price is undecided. The project is the follow-up to A Game About Digging A Hole, which has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. Shochiku Games announced the release window on September 29, 2026. The studio and rokaplay are handling the release together rather than through a single publisher.
