Mike Lacher's Triple-A Minesweeper Satirizes Big-Budget Game Openings
Mike Lacher released Triple-A Minesweeper on October 7. The free browser game plays like ordinary Minesweeper but opens with more than ten seconds of third-party logos, including Unreal Engine, NVIDIA, Bink Video and Wwise, then a hazy first-person sequence and a voice-chat character named Nora who talks over the board. A yellow marker shows which squares to open, so no deduction is needed, and hitting a mine never ends the run.
