Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Anime Pushed to 2028, Adds Two Cast Members
Crunchyroll's panel at New York Comic Con on Thursday announced that the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime is now scheduled for 2028. The series was previously announced to debut on Crunchyroll in 2027. The panel also confirmed two cast members, Mayumi Sako and Shinya Fukumatsu, and named additional staff. Keiji Inai is composing the music, Yoshikazu Iwanami is the sound director, and Yasumasa Koyama handles sound effects. Calligrapher Gyousyou Suzuki produced the calligraphy for "Kuroudo Kitan," part of the logo. The anime adapts the multiplayer mode of Sucker Punch Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment's Ghost of Tsushima. Takanobu Mizuno directs at Kamikaze Douga, with Gen Urobuchi and Satoshi Maejima on scripts and Takashi Okazaki as character designer. HAYATE is producing, with Aniplex and Sony Music involved. Attendees saw early footage ahead of a wider release.
