Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back Reveals First Footage At Tokyo Game Show 2026
At the Lollipop Chainsaw NEW PROJECT stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 18, Sega showed footage of Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back, the latest entry in the zombie action series. Juliet returns as the chainsaw-wielding high school zombie hunter, now in a new costume, with her boyfriend Nick still appearing as a severed head. The sequel is scheduled for release on PS5 in 2027 and is playable at the Sega Partners Corner inside the Sega and Atlus booth during the event. Development is handled by Dragami Games with the Taiwanese IP investment and development company NADA HOLDINGS and JP UNIVERSE, the RPG platform company led by Hajime Tabata. Series sales have surpassed 1.5 million copies. Development progress is at 99 percent, with the team continuing to improve the game until release.
